Walk-In Ovens

Designed to withstand the rigorous test of time, these durable ovens can be used for paint baking, annealing, drying, preheating, or any other heat processing of parts at temperatures up to 750°F. Their convenient size accommodates large or numerous parts, and come with your choice of either combination or full horizontal air flow in rear or top mounted heat chamber configurations.

Two Air Flow Patterns Available:
Combination air flow for odd shapes and size or bulky objects where heated air can move up, around and through the load. Horizontal air flow for applications where heated air must move sideways to pass through a load such as trays or flat sheets.

Two Oven Configurations Available:
Rear heat chamber for easy handling and low profile equipment. Top mounting heat chamber to minimize factoryu floor space occupied or to allow installation of doors at each end. Doors on front and rear allow for passing the load through or loading from both ends.

Conveyor Ovens
Grieve manufactures a wide variety of conveyor ovens including electric, gas and steam heated units with operating temperatures from 150°F to 1200°F for all fields of the industry. Grieve's conveyor ovens meet the National Fire Protection Association Standard 86, Industrial Risk Insurers, Factory Mutual and OSHA standards. Additional safety devices required by the above organizations are included for applications involving flammable solvents.

Each unit is specially designed to suit your process and can include:

• Special Belt Construction or Attachments
• Cooling Zone to Reduce Part Temperature

Inert Atmosphere Ovens
Oven operates at up to 750°F and protects parts from oxidation using any non-flammable gas such as Nitrogen, Argon or Carbon Dioxide. Air flows horizontally from front to back and completely surrounds work on shelves or large parts placed directly on the optional reinforced work space bottom. Cooling jacket, which can be equipped with optional cooling blower and automatic dampers is included. Installation of optional atmosphere purge solenoid, cooling blower and programming temperature controller provides completely automatic sequencing.

• Batch Timer (for uniformly timing batch operations)
• 24" Integral Oven Legs (shown above) and Removable oven stand with 1/8" steel plate shelf
• Digital Timing Temperature Control- 99 hour, 59 minute timer. Starts timing when temperature reaches set point and shuts down oven at end of set time
• Automatic door switch- turns off heat and blower when door is opened- restores when door closes
• Shut down timer- with continuous "hold" feature: 1,5 10, or 30 hour range
• Recording thermometer- thermocouple actuated, 24-hour, 10" diameter circular chart
• Automatic Purge (opens oven outlet automatically to purge air from oven)

High Temperature Inert Atmosphere Ovens- For processes requiring temperatures up to 1250F. Insulated with 2" thick 1900F insulating block, backed up with 10 lbs/cf density industrial rockwool.

Clean Room Ovens


Class 100 Clean Room Cabinet Ovens
These electrically heated ovens are seen in areas where eliminating particle contamination is necessary, including sterilization, depyrogenation, curing, and drying. Heavy duty units are equally suited for pharmaceutical or industrial applications. Cleanroom ovens come in five sizes with features to provide a low particle count Class 100 atmosphere inside. Workspace volumes range from 5 to 38.3 cubic feet with operating temperatures up to 500°F.
