Melt Stream Temperature Sensors
Gneuss' experience in the field of plastic melts lead them to develop these unique sensor products. The TF-MX series of metal melt temperature probes features a rheologically correct tip design in a robust sensor for measuring the temperature of the melt stream. Even highly viscous media are measured accurately. For the most accurate temperature readings avaialble, the TF-CX Series is unsurpassed. Featuring a thermally isolated, rheologically correct tip, the TF-CX is the only temperature sensor on the market that will give you true melt stream temperatures without offsets due to heat conduction from the extruder barrel.
TF-CX Temperature Sensor • Thermally Isolated Measurement Tip
The temperature sensors of the TF-CX Series are ideal for exact temperature measurements in highly sensitive medias. The ceramic isolation guarantees a direct reading of the melt temperature independent of the flange or tool location. The ceramic encases the measuring element and isolates it from the surrounding area. The design of the TF conforms to the recommended guidelines of the Plastics and Rubber trade association according to EUROMAP 31.
